Chief Of Staff Blew Ghc30.6million On Goods And Services In August 2021

The Chief of Staff, Frema Akosua Osei-Opare in August 2021 alone received “goods and services” worth over Ghc30.6 million as the extremely profligate Jubilee House of President Akufo Addo continues to waste public funds despite the economic downturn.

The revelation is from the actuals of the Office of the President in the period from January 9 to December 2021. The exact amount quoted is GHC 30,603,010.75.

The exact goods and services are a mystery that draws questions about why exactly the Chief of Staff alone needed Ghc30.6 million in just one month.

The same Chief of Staff has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, including doling out a bribe of US$120,000 to be wired to runaway Dome Kwabenya MP, Sara Adwoa Sarfo, in a desperate attempt to entice her back to Ghana to vote in favor of Government in respect of the e-levy.

The revelation was made by Assin Central MP, Ken Agyapong, who says he was personally given the bribe to pay into Adwoa Sarfo’s account.
