A New Patriotic Party (NPP) Polling station branch Chairman in the Ashanti Region, reportedly poisoned himself after losing a re-election bid.
In a story filed by Purefmonline.com, Mr. Kwaku Ennin is said to have resorted to self-slaughter after losing to a new entrant in the elections there.
According to reports, he was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and has since been battling for his life.
As of Monday, there was no word about the status of the victim of the alleged suicide.
