Police Hospital Quickly Discharges Owusu Bempah To Go Serve Jail Term

Management of the Ghana Police Hospital has discharged Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, the notorious spiritualist of President Akufo Addo, who had curiously fallen ill, a few hours after he was arrested for issuing death threats to the equally notorious fetish priestess, Patricia Asieduaa, alias Nana Agrada.

The Police Hospital discharged the embattled Founder and Head Pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International in a record two hours after he was “rushed” to the hospital as soon as he was remanded in jail for his crimes.

Critics have commended the Police Hospital for thwarting a potential ploy by Owusu Bempah to avoid his remand.

Some critics speculate that some personnel of the Police Hospital in Accra may have quickly discharged the infamous Owusu Bempah to deny him the privilege of using his “sickness” to avoid his jail term because many police officers are peeved with his impunity of using police officers to carry put his hatchet jobs.

Others think the officers at the hospital were simply tired of Owusu Bempah boastfulness derived from his influence on President Akufo Addo.

The return into cells means the controversial “Man of God” has now started serving a one-week remand handed out by an Accra Circuit Court.

The President’s Prophet had reportedly taken ill just after the Court had denied a bail request by his Lawyer, Gary Nimako, and remanded him.

It is not clear what exactly was wrong with him but news reports indicate that while at the Hospital, he had taken the opportunity to call many high-ups in the Akufo-Addo government to get the Police to release him, however, nobody came to his aid, as he becomes a “sacrificial lamb”.

And the man who describes himself as the Nation’s Prophet was said to have been handcuffed to his bed by Police sentries in the hospital.

It would be recalled that Owusu Bempah, together with three other persons had been arrested on Sunday by the Police after they had stormed the house of the fetish priestess turned Christian Evangelist, Nana Agradaa, and allegedly threatened her with death.

The violent gang of Bempah had brandished guns and had shot a video of their invasion purposed to murderously threaten Agrada.

Later the Police would release a statement saying when they went to Bempah’s church on Sunday to arrest him and his accomplices, he instigated some church members to attack the Police.

Nevertheless, the gang was rounded up and arraigned the next day Monday before an Accra Circuit Court where New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer, Gary Nimako, had requested bail for him.

However, the court presided over by Afia Owusua Appiah, denied him bail and the three others remanded him to reappear on Monday, September 20.
