Football, Sports Commentator Busted With Human Body Parts In Freezer

The Ghana Police Service has busted Richard Gyamfi aka ” Fire Man, a popular footballer and sports commentator in the Sunyani for allegedly murdering more than three people, including the son of his close friend.

When the Police stormed his home they found three decapitated heads in his refrigerator. It is unclear if the murders were for rituals or for organ harvesting, as most ritual murderers discard the bodies of their victims at the crime scene.

A father of one of the victims, Thomas Agyei, recounted his harrowing experience, saying that Fire Man lured his 13-year-old son Louis Agyemang Junior from a football park at Sunyani Abesim into his room and killed him.

According to the tearful father, efforts to trace his son was futile and that one of his son’s friends told him that he last saw the victim in the company of Fire Man. But there was no way they could determine if he had indeed been murdered.

According to the father on Saturday, August 21, 2021, they confronted Fire Man about their suspicion, but he denied it.

The distraught parent stormed the house of the alleged murderer and broke into his house to find the severed bodies of the victims. The third victim is yet to be identified.

Among the butchered victims, includes 15-year-old Stephen Sarpong, who is the step-brother of Louis Agyemang, the one whose disappearance triggered the search to Fire Man’s house.

According to the father of the victims, the suspect was his friend with whom he had worked in the construction business.

“The young man, truth be told, is my friend. It was only four days ago that he came to my house that – I also work with him, he’s a surveyor – he came to tell me that the land he was planning on developing had sand and blocks on it and he wanted me to sell it for him, so I did,” the senior Sarpong narrated.

“ He used to cook and eat with my children. They were also friends,” he added, saying he would never have suspected that his friend will take advantage of their familiarity to murder his sons.

Meanwhile, the IGP has directed the CID to provide technical support to the police team in the Bono Region for an intensive investigation into the gruesome murder.
