Police Cover-Up Exposed in “Mad Pastor” Arrest

Whatsup News is picking up disturbing reports that the loudmouthed Pastor who reportedly threatened “fire and brimstone” on Electoral Commissioner (EC) Jean Mensah is being denied access to his legal counsel.

Victor Kwadjoga Adawudu, the lawyer for the self-styled prophet Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei has dragged the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI), Attorney-General among other state institutions to court for denying the embattled pastor legal representation.

In the suit, Mr. Adawudu said since he met his client on the night of Tuesday, June 9, 2020, the day he was arrested, he has not been granted access to him again.

 “In spite of the fact that the order of the Honourable Court was explicit, the operatives of the Respondents will not respect the order and also deny the Applicant the opportunity to have time and the facilities to prepare for this defence as guaranteed by the 1992 Constitution.”

“The National Security and BNI operatives have become notorious for unlawful behaviour by denying abiding citizen their liberties and flagrantly disregarding lawful orders and it is the duty of the Honourable Court to use its coercive power to whip these institutions in line and lead by example,” he noted in his writ.

Sources say till date, the embattled pastor has not been allowed to make an official statement to the Police.

Pastor Owusu-Agyei was allegedly caught with a stash of marijuana was tested for narcotics. In a leaked lab report from Ghana Police Hospital, he reportedly tested positive for marijuana and Tramadol.

Earlier, another Lawyer Abraham Amaliba alleged that the National Security agents  that arrested him on Tuesday June 9, 2020, may have planted marijuana on his client, the loudmouthed Apostle Kwabena Owusu-Agyei, who was caught in a controversial outburst of death and blood against the Electoral Commissioner (EC) Jean Mensah and the so-called Akyem Mafia in the governing party.

The preacher was caught on a video recording screaming what he claims was a prophecy about the potential death of the EC boss and blood flowing among the “Akyem-Mafia”. He was quickly arrested and has been charged with three counts including threatening someone’s life and possessing narcotics.

The 56-year-old preacher was picked up on Wednesday, June 9, 2020, in a Rambo-styled arrest by about half a dozen men claiming to be from the National Security Agency. Apostle Owusu Adjei was conducting a live interview with media organisations in his home at the time of his arrest.

A few days ago, Apostle Owusu-Agyei started trending in a viral video showing him raining expletives at the EC boss for her alleged bias for the NPP.

According to him, he had a spiritual revelation that confusion being brewed by the EC boss will cause the blood of the “Akyem Mafia” faction in the NPP to flow.
