Ghana Gets New Papal Ambassador From The Vatican

Ghana is to soon welcome a new Ambassador from the Holy See in Rome after Pope Francis appointed H.E Monsignor Henryk Mieczyslaw Jagodzinski as the new Papal Ambassador to the country.

Announcement of the new appointment was made Sunday at the Ghana Catholic Secretariat.

H.E Monsignor Henryk Mieczyslaw Jagodzinski  takes over as Apostolic Nuncio from H.E Archbishop Jean Marie Speich.

Jagodzinski, who is also Titular Archbishop-elect of Limosano, becomes the ninth Papal Ambassador to Ghana.

Before his assignment to Ghana, H.E. Jagodzinski he was assigned as First Counsellor in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro from 2018.

He is Italian.
