Chinese Nationals Linked to Missing ECG Containers!

Energy and Green Transition Minister, John Abdulai Jinapor, has dropped a bombshell revelation that he is close to uncovering the masterminds behind the disappearance of a whopping 1,346 Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) containers.

Fresh from a high-profile visit to key sites in Kpone and Shai Hills, where authorities have apprehended some Chinese suspects and are currently on the hunt for Indian suspects who allegedly fled the scene, Jinapor made the shocking disclosure on the Parliament floor today.

In a riveting speech, the minister declared his unwavering commitment to putting an end to the long-running scandal, vowing to bring the culprits to justice during his tenure.

“We’ve nabbed some Chinese nationals and we’re hot on the trail of the Indian suspects who fled. This has been going on for years, but rest assured, I will bring it to a halt right now,” Jinapor passionately affirmed.

Unfazed by fierce accusations from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) attempting to lay blame for the missing containers at his feet, Jinapor emphatically refuted any insinuation that the disappearance occurred under his watch.

Setting the record straight, the determined minister outlined the painstaking efforts his team undertook to unravel the truth behind the vanishing containers, revealing shocking details of brand new cables being melted down into aluminum rods for illicit export.

With an unyielding resolve and the full backing of President John Dramani Mahama, Jinapor signaled his intent to cleanse the system of corruption and ensure accountability for the missing ECG containers.
