In a coordinated effort by the Attorney-General’s Department and EOCO, Madam Angela Adjei-Boateng and one other individual have been apprehended in a suburb of Accra. Notably, Madam Angela is the spouse of Mr Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former Director-General of the National Signal Bureau.
These arrests, conducted around 12 noon today, March 21, 2025, followed Mr. Adu-Boahene’s detention at Kotoka International Airport last night at approximately 9 pm, on March 20, 2025.
The focus of these apprehensions is linked to investigations surrounding various financial crimes, with the primary objective being the recovery of lost state funds.
