Vote for the Man Who Has Your Back: Veteran Nigerian Actor RMD Endorses JM

Renowned Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has urged Ghanaian voters not to overlook National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming December 7 general election.

RMD, speaking at the 9th EMY awards in Accra on Sunday November 24, described Mr. Mahama as a deserving candidate who deserves a second chance.

He expressed his preference for Mahama, citing the former president’s track record and notable achievements during his tenure.

Although RMD admitted to never meeting Mr. Mahama in person, he commended the transformative projects initiated under the NDC administration, particularly highlighting the impressive Terminal 3 at Kotoka International Airport.

The actor emphasized the need for Ghanaians to elect leaders who truly have their interests at heart.

The actor, who is a familiar face in Ghana, emphasized the importance of making informed choices during elections and not repeating the mistakes often seen in African politics. RMD encouraged Ghanaians to vote for the candidate who truly supports and represents their needs.

While acknowledging that he is not personally acquainted with Mr. Mahama, RMD expressed confidence in the former president’s capabilities based on the positive feedback he has received from his Ghanaian associates regarding Mahama’s accomplishments.

In conclusion, RMD highlighted the importance of giving Mr. Mahama another opportunity to lead, stating “you guys should give him a chance again and see how far it goes.”
