John Mahama Proposes National Day of Prayer & Thanksgiving

In a bold move to solidify his campaign platform, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, John Mahama, recently unveiled plans to establish an annual National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving if elected as President in December.

This initiative was disclosed during a breakfast meeting with religious leaders in Ho, a vital stop on his campaign tour of the Volta region.

Mahama highlighted the significance of expressing gratitude to God for the blessings bestowed upon the people of Ghana, emphasizing the importance of seeking divine intervention for continued favor.

“In all things, we must give thanks. Even in times of challenges, gratitude is essential for inviting more blessings,” Mahama articulated, underscoring the spiritual essence of his proposed national event.

With a mantra of “Building the Ghana we want together,” Mahama’s campaign resonates with diverse stakeholders as he engages in dialogues with community members across the Volta region.

Through interactive sessions with youths, women, traders, drivers, and traditional leaders, Mahama aims to foster unity and progress within Ghana. As Mahama traverses the Volta region, his message of gratitude and optimism garners positive feedback, reflecting a shared aspiration for a brighter future.

The National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving stands as a testament to Mahama’s dedication to steering Ghana towards prosperity and unity underpinned by spiritual values.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Campaign Spokesperson, emphasized the importance of acknowledging blessings and past achievements to pave the way for a prosperous future.

Mahama’s commitment to spiritual intercession and gratitude sets the tone for a campaign rooted in hope and unity, resonating with Ghanaians seeking a path to national progress.
