In a midnight operation reminiscent of the hunt for a North Korean defector, Ghana’s National goons hovered around the home of Editor-In-Chief of Whatsup news for hours and terrorized him with strange midnight calls , shortly after his bombshell report that revealed Ghana’s National Security Coordinator was a British Citizen.
Whilst operatives surveilled his neighborhood, others linked to the National Signal Bureau placed phones calls directly to his mobile number as late as 1.21 am midnight in a desperate attempt to geolocate his whereabouts.
Ghana is among countries listed as patrons of the notorious Israeli spyware called “pergasus” which is used to hack into nearly every phone. The spyware is deemed as the most sophisticated modern mobile phone interception in the world.
The notorious Pergasus spyware was the same one used to hack into the phone of Washington based Saudi journalist Kashogi, who was brutally murdered in a Saudi consulate in Turkey in……

So far, one of the midnight calls which was recorded 1.21 am from number 0243161886 at exactly 1:21 has been traced to one Henry Osei-Tutu known to be a special assistance to the National Security Coordinator. Henry has been linked to a recent arrest of a blogger called “
Meanwhile, Henry has refused to pick repeated calls placed to him by Mr. Tamakloe to explain his suspicious midnight calls. WhatsUp news has gathered that Henry the Second in Command of the Deputy Director of the National Signal Bureau, the Cyber arms of the National Security.
The Editor-In Chief suspects that the operation is connected to recent publications by ‘WhatsUp News’ revealing money laundering scandal in the government’s touted Gold 4 Oil policy and other blockbuster corruption revelations under the investigative radar of the Newspaper.
A recent expose by the WhatsUp News that Ghana’s National Security Coordinator, Edward Asomani, is a British National squatting at the apex of Ghana’s intelligence establishment could also be linked to the ongoing harassment of the investigate editor.
Mr. Tamakloe has since the incident sought the advice of seasoned National Security And Intelligence specialists about how to manage his security. The Editor is currently observing very strict security protocols.
