Aisha Huang Is a Financier Of NPP-NDC

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is has blown the cover of notorious Chinese illegal miner, Aisha Huang, revealing the galamsey queen is a bankroller of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Dr. Peter Boamha Otukonor, Huang’s cash donations to the NPP explains the government’s inability to take Aisha Huang head-on.

“If she’s not a financier of the NPP, I wonder how somebody who is supposed to have been deported, and the [former] Senior Minister… Osafo Maafo, say that she has been deported…”

“All of a sudden the President is playing dumb and saying that he doesn’t do that the woman has been deported, and I think is becoming one too many and becoming a worrying trend,” he explained on Thursday on the side-lines of a press conference by the NDC.

The allegation comes in the wake of President Akufo-Addo shockingly revealing he is not sure that Aisha Huang had been deported in 2018 as claimed by security agencies.

commenting on the president’s ignorance, Dr. Otukonor pointed out it follows a trend of what appears to be deliberate plausible deniability by Mr. Akufo-Addo.

“You have a sitting president, who always says that he is not aware of businesses that he himself has undertaken. The President has issued an executive instrument and he says he is aware. He has written letters of authority and he says he is not aware… corruption appears under him, everybody’s talking about it, and he says he is not aware. Today, Aisha Huang, he is saying that he is not aware that Aisha Huang was deported. Very soon, he will say that he is not aware he is the president of this country.

Following the president’s bomb shell, Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has been attempting damage control, claiming the president meant that he believed the woman had been repatriated, not deported.

However, this has come across as pure nonsense to many who have pointed d out that in 2018, following her deportation, senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Marfo, had said that she had been deported.

According to Marfo, Aisha Huang had been deported because prosecuting her would have meant serious diplomatic consequences.
