NDC Functional Executive Committee Approves Timetable for Constituency Elections

The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has approved a timetable for the conduct of constituency elections.

This is according to a letter that party General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, fired to all regional Chairmen of the party on 9th September.

“This is to inform you that the Functional Executive Committee (FEC), at its meeting on the 6th of September, 2022 approved the time table for the conduct of constituency elections.

Please take note of the above decision and plan towards the conduct of a free, fair and transparent constituency elections in your region.”

The letter also informed the regional Chairmen that the election will be in two phases – “Phase one is from the 15th-17th September. This phase is for the constituencies with sitting MPs only. Phase two comes off from the 22nd-23rd October, 2022. This is for orphaned constituencies, “the letter said.
