Kwabena Agyepong Fumes Over Parliament’s Alleged Cleaning Contract to Chinese Company

Former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has taken issues with Parliament over an alleged contracting of a Chinese company to be cleaning Parliament House.
Agyapong who is also aspiring to be the 2024 presidential candidate of the New Patriotioc Party said that it would be an insult to have such an arrangement when there are so many local companies more than capable of cleaning parliament.
He made these remarks during an interview on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm’s Frontline.

It is not clear if any such contract exists. According to Mr. Agyepong, such contracts are supposed to be awarded to Ghanaian businesses to protect and stabilise the economy.
