Hyper-Insensitive Akufo Addo Caught On Two Bedroom, Video Game Luxury Private Jet Trip

-Costs Taxpayers A Whopping €480,000 For One Week.

Despite protestations from Ghanaians, President Akufo-Addo has been caught once more blowing scarce taxpayers’ money to charter a US$20,000-per-hour super luxurious private jet to Rwanda.

President Akufo-Addo between June 19, 2022, and June 20, 2022, clandestinely chartered the expensive Airbus ACJ319 from Brussels to Kigali-Rwanda on the occasion of the 26th Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Nations.

The total bill for the trip was a staggering €480,000 according to conservative estimates.

President Akufo Addo had dropped the luxury jet LX-DIO, operated by Global Jet Luxembourg, which he had used between 2021 and early 2022 and had sparked intense public condemnation for blowing over US$ 4 million on it.

To avoid prying eyes, Akufo Addo and his extravagant Jubilee House had flown on a commercial Air France Flight to Paris on Sunday, June 19, 2022; jumped on a train from Paris to Brussels and boarded the expensive German-based Airbus ACJ319 operated by K5-Aviation.

When the Jubilee House was exposed, the President’s Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin will quickly issue a statement on Friday, June 24, 2022, claiming the President was forced to charter the expensive private jet because there was a nationwide aviation strike in Belgium that led to flight cancellations on Monday, June 20, 2022-the day President Akufo Addo was to fly to Kigali.

Even though Eugene Arhin would want Ghanaians to believe the charter of the Airbus ACJ319 was done at the spur of the moment due to flight cancellations at Brussels airport, Whatsup New can report that the Jubilee House had known since June 17, 2022, that the airport workers in Brussels were planning a nationwide strike the very week that President Akufo Addo would arrive Brussels.

This prior knowledge is why the Jubilee House boarded an Air France flight to Paris and allowed the President to take a Brussels-bound train from Paris to attend the European Development Day Event in Brussels on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

In an attempt to mask the fact that the Jubilee House pre-ordered the luxury private jet before Akufo Addo’s flight to Paris on June 19, 2022, Eugene Arhin claimed the Jubilee House was constrained by the flight difficulty in Brussels to order the fully-specification German luxury jet to allow the President enough rest for an even that will happen in Kigali on Thursday, June 23, 2022, three full days after the Brussels flight cancellation had ended.

What Mr. Arhin failed to explain is that if the decision of the Jubilee House to high a private jet on the Kigali trip was not pre-planned, why did the President travel to Paris and used a one hour 30 minutes train ride to Brussels where he has his expensive private jet waiting, when he could have jumped another train to Paris on the barely two hours return trip and have ample time to rest while waiting for his commercial flight to Kigali.

“After pretending he was a changed man by flying commercial on his last two trips to the US and the UK, he has returned to his grossly insensitive and reckless ways of profligate traveling in ultra-luxurious charters,” the North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa jabbed the Jubilee House.

2Probably thinking he will escape our unimpeachable surveillance if he switched companies, President Akufo-Addo on this occasion decided to abandon his favourite LX-DIO operated by Global Jet Luxembourg and opted for German-based private jet operator — K5-Aviation.”

According to Ablakwah, the German private jet is more expensive than the previous one that the President had been junketing in and courting extreme public anger.

The current jet has a Master bedroom with a double bed and connecting bathroom with shower; 2 additional bedrooms; 3 washrooms; a Master bathroom with a walk-in shower; an Air Humidification system; Airshow and 5 external cameras; Gogo 2Ku high-speed Wi-Fi, up to 70 Mbit/sec for streaming and video calls (charged extra); Video on demand and DVD including a 55” screen; music streaming; PlayStation; external cameras with tailfin view, etc.

Already, Akufo Addo had amply demonstrated that he is not averse to wasteful travel choices in private jets only fit for Arabian Kings or drug lords. When questioned, his appointees claimed he opted for the previous jet- an Airbus ACJ320neo because it had on board a bathroom.
