Security analyst, Adib Saani, is warning that there are dangerous moles within Ghana’s national security apparatus who are snitching on the nation to terrorists.
His statement is in reaction to leaked intelligence alerting the Police and military of a possible invasion of terror groups in the mountainous parts of the Upper East Region.
“I suspect there are enemies within and they have to investigate and get to find out who might have leaked this information because this is not supposed to be public,” the security analyst explained.
The intelligence was from the top hierarchy of the national security establishment.
According to Adib Saani, until the fifth columnists are winnowed out, the country’s fight against terror would be in compromise.
He suggested on Accra-based Joy FM that going forward, “information should be encrypted and it should be sent through secured services.”
