The Head Pastor of the Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro has lambasted Ghanaian leaders, saying they have driven the country into a mess.
In a video that has gone viral, the plain-talking man of the cloth added that the country has also wandered away from God who is the only one with the solution to help get it back on its feet.
“Ghana, you are in a big mess and it is only the ways of God and the word of God that straightens you up. You are not even acknowledging that you are in a financial crisis, you are failing to acknowledge that you are in a systemic failure, you are failing to acknowledge you have weak leaders,” he said in a Facebook live video.
Ghana’s economy is in a mess with international rating agencies downgrading it and thus flagging it for investors as a junk economy.
And the cause of the problem is corruption-driven borrowing by the Akufo-Addo government championed by its Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
