I’m Tired Of Punches NPP Vice Chairman Boycotts Regional Meetings

The New Patriotic Party (NPP)’S Second Vice-Chairperson for Northern Region, Madam Felicia Tetteh, has dismissed herself from attending any future meetings of the party’s Northern Regional branch.

Explaining her reason, she says she is tired of receiving blows, hooks and punches anytime she attends meetings in the branch of the party.

“I no longer attend Regional meetings unless the National Executives are coming and I am guaranteed I will be safe when I attend such meetings. I have very good reasons for absenting myself from meetings known to both the Regional and National Executives”, she revealed.

“Assault is the number one conduct for which I no longer attend Regional meetings. If there is Regional Executive among us whose habit is to assault others that person ought to be suspended. I have been assaulted multiple times and I want them if indeed they are devout Muslims to speak the truth. The matter reached its crescendo during the confirmation of the Savelugu MCE. As a result, I have vowed to boycott all NPP events until I am assured of my safety during visits by National Executives”, she vowed.

Apparently, among the architects of the campaign of beatings on Madam Tetteh is the Northern Regional Women’s Organizer of the NPP, Hajia Rahana Abdul-Aziz.

Hajia Abdul Aziz accuses Madam Tetteh of being a busybody and agent of confusion in the party, including polluting the minds of some of her executives against her.

Recently, Hajia told the Second Vice-Chairperson that she is an alien and therefore does not even qualify to hold a position in the Northern regional branch of the party.

“Felicia has run short of plans and embarrassed by her own actions. She is creating tension and confusion in the party. She is an alien because this is not where she hails from. She has lied I tried attacking her”, she said in a radio confrontation with madam Tetteh.

Hajia Abdul Aziz however denied attacking Madam Felicia in public or in private wondering what she has to gain in engaging a colleague Regional Executive in a street fight.
