Dampare Crushes NPP Vigilantes In Bullion Van Robbery

-As Terrified Police Officers Executes Two Policemen To Cover-up Crime

Startling revelations from the Ghana Police Service (GPS) reveal that some dirty senior officers may have instigated the execution of two junior officers in a desperate attempt to cover up their tracks in their involvement in the recent spate of armed robbery and crimes across the country.

According to the Director-General of the Police Public Affairs, DCOP Kwesi Ofori in a dubious narration, during a raid of the hideout of the criminal gang believed to include members of the militia group of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) drafted into the security services, two accomplice police officers who had been arrested earlier in connection with the bullion van robbery incident were shot dead in an alleged shootout.

DCOP Kwesi Ofori claims the shootout happened in Borteyman near Ashaiman. But, critics have quickly pointed out the inconsistencies in the narration.

First of all, there are questions about how two officers whom the police administration had claimed to have arrested earlier as part of the gang were part of the investigative team that tracked down the criminals and got involved in a shootout.

Secondly, how curious it is that the only accomplices that may have led to the investigations were the only ones shot dead in the so-called shootout.

Meanwhile, musician and social commentator, Kwame Asare Obeng, aka A-Plus, has revealed that he has recordings and names of police commissioners who are the godfathers of these criminal gangs.

“The police service is a huge criminal organization with a few good men…Because some police commissioners are involved in the robberies, I suspect they are killing them to cover up,” A-Plus queried.

“I will tell you why I think a police commissioner and some top officers are the real criminals in Ghana. And of course, I’ll mention names. There must be a major shake-up in the police service.”

This shocking revelation is coming at a time the Inspector General of Police (IGP) George Akuffo Dampare has mounted a serious campaign to rid the police service of bad cops and revelations by the GPS itself that some six police officers were arrested in connection with recent attacks on bullion vans.

In a curious statement released on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, DCOP Kwesi Ofori narrated: “…There was an exchange of gunshots and two policemen…who had been arrested in connection with the Bullion Van Robberies, were shot and were pronounced dead on arrival at the police hospital where they were rushed for treatment.”

He mentioned the names of the officers as Constable Reindolph Gyimah Ansah and Corporal Stephen Kwaku Nyame.

Meanwhile, a secretly recorded conversation between acquaintances of one of the bullion van robbery gang captures the revelation that one of the gang members is named “Pablo”, a member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s militia drafted into National Security.

The GPS has been uncovering evidence that the notorious bullion van robbery gang was made up of police officers and some security agencies.

Per the conversation which WhatsUp News has heard, this NPP criminal called Pablo is an officer with the Police elite Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit, and while working at SWAT, he has also been moonshining as an armed robber.

According to the shocking information, he has been carrying out robbery attacks especially on bullion vans together with other colleagues in the Police, including an instructor at a Police Depot.

Pablo is said to be one of the fully armed security agents who were deployed to the Volta Region in the run-up to the 2020 general election, allegedly to quell the so-called Western Togoland secessionist movement.

In the last operation that led to the arrest of Pablo, he was identified by the Police officer escorting the van and so Pablo had no choice but to kill him.

In June 2021, Pablo and his gang, in a brazen show of power, hijacked a bullion van in Jamestown Accra which was transporting some undisclosed amount of cash. The young police escort in the bullion van, one Constable Emmanuel Osei was shot point-blank in the head.

It is now emerging that the shooter was the notorious Pablo and that he was constrained to shoot Osei because Osei was his colleague and recognized him during the raid.

The gang later sped off amidst a hail of bullets as Pablo and his gang fired sporadic shots to deter any attempt to chase them. In the process, a pregnant woman was hit and killed by their stray bullets.

The secret tape that put that incident in context, was a conversation between another Police officer, suspected to be another NPP goon, who is with the Koforidua Training school of the GPS. His identity is anonymous.

He said of Pablo, “That boy when we went to Western Togoland I was with him. His name is Pablo, he is at National SWAT; National SWAT is where they did this thing, they have arrested about eight people, including Amora,” he is heard saying.

He explains that “According to information a robbery case recently happened, I think around the East Legon area, involving another bullion van but they could not succeed and as a result, he was about to be exposed and so he fled from there to the James Town area. Not knowing, in James Town, the (area) boys had also monitored him. The boys did not know he was a police officer and so when he got there, they arrested him and released control (alarm) that they have arrested one of the suspects who killed the Police officer who was sitting in the bullion van.”

Pablo, he said was then arrested and then taken to an area within the office enclave of the Striking Force unit of the Police where he was tortured for two days to soften him.

“And so when we went we discovered that it was that boy, our friend Pablo, the National SWAT guy. He vehemently denied that he was the criminal and so he was brought to Striking Force and then tortured for two days to soften him, following from which he was taken to the Police Hospital before he confessed that he was the perpetrator,” the narrator in the tape said.

After the hard experience, Pablo would start singing like a bird, naming his armed robbery accomplices including an instructor at the Police Depot in Accra (Tesano) where the Police officers are said to be notorious for gangsterism, robberies and criminal gold deals.

The revelation only reinforces the dreadful reality that the Akufo-Addo government has filled Ghana’s national security with criminal party boys and girls who have been behind a wave of gangsterism, gun-running and armed robbery in the country since the regime came into office.

These reprobates who were nurtured in the various goon squads of the party from the opposition, including the Eye Group, Invisible Forces, Delta Forces and the Bolgatanga Bull Dogs have since had their presence felt during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election of January 2017 where they shot at unarmed civilians, maiming some.

Also, shortly after the NPP won power in 2017, the rogues made their presence felt when they stormed a courtroom in Kumasi and overthrew legal proceedings while assaulting the trial judge to free an arrested colleague.

The thugs in military and police uniforms were also unleashed during the 2020 elections where they murdered eight Ghanaians who were protesting election fraud. Shortly afterwards, a number of them were again unleashed on the residents of Ejura in the Ashanti Region who were protesting the gruesome murder of a youth activist, “Macho Kaaka”.

Several of the residents were shot, with two killed as the reign of terror of President Akufo Addo continues unabated.
