Former Ghanaian Dance Champion Dies

Former Ghanaian National Dance Champion, Frederick Baah, has been confirmed dead by sources close to his family.

The late Frederick Baah had won the Ghana National Dance competition in 1998 as a teenager. He went on to compete on several other platforms, showcasing his enthusiasm for dancing.

However, he was pronounced dead this morning at the Ridge Hospital after a short illness

The medical condition that killed him is currently unclear, but sources say he had been on admission at the Nyaho Medical Centre since July 10, 202.

He was eventually transferred to the Ridge Hospital where the barely 45-year-old “Freddie” will give up the ghost.

Friends both personal and on social media were stunned by the death of the otherwise vibrant Freddie. Some are speculating that he may have had COVID-19-related complications, but Whatsup News cannot independently confirm these reports.

Confirming his demise, his uncle, Kojo Gyeke-Darko expressed shock.

The former club dance champion graduated from the All Nations University College in Koforidua after he graduated from the Pope John Senior High School and GHATECO Junior High School in Koforidua.
