Renowned cleric, Temitope Balogun Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has died in what has sent shockwaves across Africa for its suddenness.
The Church today, Sunday, June 6, 2021, officially confirmed the preacher’s demise six days to his 58th.
The cause of death is currently unknown, but Whatsup News gathered from people close to the world-renowned preacher that he had been ill for a couple of months now.
In breaking the news, SCOAN stated: “On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”
“God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.”
Aside from his controversial prediction of future events, T.B Joshua is known as one of the most philanthropic mega-rich preachers in Africa. “As Prophet TB Joshua says, “The greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it,” SCOAN stated.
The Church extolled his virtues, stressing he is leaving a “legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s Kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn.”
According to SCOAN, the prophet’s last words were “Watch and pray.”
