Ledzokuku MP Donates Streetlights

The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Benjamin Ayiku Narteh has donated street lights to all the 12 Electoral Areas in his Constituency.

A total of 200 street light lamps and their accessories were handed over to the representatives of the various Assemblies at Teshie Agblisan.

The donation is part of the commemoration of Hon Ayiku’s hundredth day in office as MP for Ledzokuku.

He explains that the lights are meant to help improve security in the Constituency and also improve visibility for road users within the Constituency.

Hon. Ayiku, who is from the NDC also said that the donation is a show of his commitment to developing his Constituency even though his party, the NDC is not in power. 

For the first time in its Political history, Ledzokuku is having an MP and a Municipal Chief Executive from different parties.

He urged the various Electoral Areas to use the lights with a culture of maintenance so that it will last long.

Present at the donation were Assembly Members, Opinion leaders, some leaders of residents associations and party members.
