Saudi Ambassador To Ghana Discusses Zongos With NDC’s Zongo Commando

The Saudi Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Meshal Hamdan Al-Rogi, over the week, held a meeting with the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s popular activist for the Zongos in the country.

Abdul-Aziz Mohammed, A. K. A Zongo Commando, was hosted by His Excellency Al-Rogi at the Saudi Embassy.

He went along with him his vision of the Zongos and encouraged the Saudi Embassy to make major investments into this critical constituency of the country.

For Zongo Commando, the commonality of Islam between the Zongos and Saudi Arabia makes it opportune for Saudi Arabia to help build the quality of life in the Zongos.

H.E. pledged the continued support of Saudi Arabia to the upliftment of the country’s Zongos and indeed Ghana as a whole.

He also touted the enduring bilateral relations that Saudi Arabia shares with Ghana saying Saudi Arabia will continue to strengthen its ties with Ghana.
