Name Of National Cathedral Designer Pops Up In Alleged Trade Fair Land Loot

Celebrated Ghanaian architect, Sir David Adjaye, has been named by sources as one of a number of conspirators who schemed to carve out Trade Fair lands for themselves.

Sir Adjaye, who was knighted in England for his outstanding architectural prowess is being fingered by insiders to be in the thick in the plot to loot state lands. 

He sits on the Board meetings of the Trade Fair Company, Whatsup News gathered as Trade Fair board minutes have emerged confirming that Sir Adjaye had been represented by one Mr. Kofi Bio of Adjaye & Associates.

A 13th April 2018 Board meeting minute captures Board Chairman, Daniel McKorley acknowledging inputs from Sir Adajaye even though the architect is not a member of the Trade Fair Board.

“The CEO further reported that the Architect [David Agyaye] would meet with the CEO of COCOBOD on Tuesday 17th April 2018 to agree on where to allocate land for them. COCOBOD had requested fifty (50) acres of the redevelopment land though they were still not decided on what to put on the land. The Architect however advised that between ten (10) to fifteen (15) acres should be adequate for their (unstated) purposes,” the intercepted minutes read.

Led by Dr. Agnes Adu, the Trade Fair Company CEO, the alleged conspiracy forcibly removed Ghanaians who had company buildings and manufacturing bases at Trade Fair.

Even though Dr. Adu had justified the demolition of factories and offices in the name of redeveloping Trade Fair, sources allege the real purpose was to clear the land so the CEO and her friends can grab the land for themselves, using their companies as fronts.

To this end, Dr. Adu is alleged to have paid a Ghc10, 000 bribe to some faceless persons at the Lands Commission to forge land title certificates over the Trade Fair lands for her.

Also, Dr. Adu is reported to have re-awarded the Trade Fair redevelopment contract, originally given to the Reroy Company, to crony companies including; Stone Creek, Omega Group, RNB Westport, Fidat Barcelona, Novaris and three (3) others.

Dr. Adu is said to have done so by plagiarizing Reroy’s documents.
