Keta MP’s Filling Station Attacked By Gun Wielding Men

Unknown gun-wielding men reportedly attacked a filling station owned by the Member of Parliament for Keta, Hon. Kwame Gakpey.

The attack resulted in two men sustaining gun wounds and have been hospitalized according to reports.

The assailants are said to have also made away with Ghc7,000 and a pump-action gun, along with some valuables.

This is the third time the MP for Keta is suffering an attack after he was elected to office in December.

The first attack happened at his Anlo Afiadenyigba residence barely days after his election and is believed to be election-related.

Hon. Gakpey has lamented the lack of Police protection in spite of the of danger hovering around him.

“Keta divisional command promised to provide security but as at now am still managing my own security. Police have not provided me any security,” Gakpey lamented.
