Students of St. Johns Grammar school in Accra, were today, reportedly dragged out of their classrooms by the management of the school and paraded on the street wave at the convoy of President Akufo-Addo.
The President was visiting Dome, the Constituency within which the school is located and the school authority thought he needed praise-singing from the students.
The hapless students were seen wearing covid-19 preventive masks and parading on pavements of the streets within the constituency as they waited several hours for the convoy of the President to pass for the arranged accolades.
The Akufo-Addo government has been accused of politicizing students with some party executives and appointees openly campaigning on SHS campuses.
Recently, the campaign team of the President met with public sector Nurses in the Volta Region and asked them to use their workplaces to campaign for the re-election of Akufo-Addo.
