Founder and leader of the Life Assembly Worship Center, Rev. Christian Andrews has reversed a forty (40) year prophesy that he had earlier made about Ghana’s political future.
In 2016, he had claimed that God had ordained the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rule for the next forty years with President Akufo-Addo, his Vice, Mahamudu Bawumia and Alan Kyeremanten, being elected for eight-year tenures in succession.
According to him, God has changed his mind because of the NPP and Akufo-Addo’s wickedness. Akufo-Addo, thus, he said, will be a one-term President who will be succeeded by himself and his Ghana Union Movement (GUM) party.
“God has taken his hands off Nana Addo and the NPP. GUM will win the elections for Ghanaians to know that God is powerful. In the say way, God took his hands off Saul, he has taken his hands off the NPP and Nana Addo because of their wickedness. You are wicked. Look at the loans you have contracted. Ghanaians are suffering, there is an increase in armed robbery, it means Nana Addo has failed. If I were to mark you, a will give you 00.0 percent,” the preacher said.
The verdict was in response to the NPP circulating his 2016 prophecy on social media. The ruling party had dug up the video from the archives to show that God had ordained the party to rule for 40 years.
In that video, Rev. Andrews who is popularly called Osofo Kyiriabosom, had claimed that God had told him that Nana Akufo-Addo would have an eight-year tenure, followed by his Vice Mahamudu Bawumia and Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng in that order.
However, Kyiriabosom has since formed his own party, GUM, and filed to contest for President. It was this about-turn decision he made later that he explained as being informed by the fact that God has rejected Akufo-Addo like he rejected Saul.
