The Police in Suntreso, Ashanti Region, have arrested a 37-year-old man suspected to be a serial car snatcher.Alex Owusu allegedly was a member of a syndicate which operates in both Ashanti and Western Regions.Upon his arrest, the Police says, eight impounded taxis were in his possession Regional Police PRO, ASP Godwin Ahianyo is reported to have said that the suspect usually hires the services of the driver from major towns but snatches the car in the middle of the journey.In the lead up to his arrest, the Police took time to gather intelligence on the suspect and his syndicate, the Police PRO said.Alex Owusu is helping with investigations.
