Police Intercepts Caché of Guns At AJUMAKO

Reports picked up by Whatsup News indicates that the Police Operation Team despatched to Ajumako constituency on Saturday morning intercepted weapon-laden vehicles, reportedly belonging to people associated with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The police reportedly conducted random swoops on vehicles in the constituency, following several petitions from NPP constituency and Regional executives. The swoop affected vehicles belonging to people from both the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the NPP, but several caches of guns were found in the vehicles owned by the NPP supporters.

Whatsup News has been unable to independently verify these reports, but the reports claim that the culprits have been arrested by the Ajumako Police Command.
