“ZONGO TO BBC: Addi Self Set To Premiere His Debut Album

After being sacked by their former boss, Shatta Wale, Jafaro Mohammed, known in Showbiz circles as”Addi Self”, has, in an interview on “Whatsup TV”, revealed that, he will be blessing and spicing up the Ghanaian entertainment industry, as he is set to premiere his debut album which is aptly captioned “Zongo To BBC”

In a question posited before him by Champagne, host of the show, Addi Self explains “I am the first Ghanaian Zongo Youth doing music to step foot in BBC. That came with a lot of inspiration and boost for my music career so I decided to name my debut album ‘Zongo To BBC’ to highlight that record”.

Addi Self is a Ghanaian born Dancehall Singjay from Nima, a suburb of Ghana’s capital city, Accra. Be on the look out for his debut studio catalogue. He is currently promoting “How Many Times” – a song that talks about the sufferation of us the ghetto people and what goes on in Africa and the world at large.

Earlier, Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, in a Facebook Live video, made it official that he is no longer working with his militants, made up of Addi Self, Captan, Joint 77 and Natty Lee. According to him, they are lazy musicians who aren’t ready to be in the limelight regardless of the music coaching tips he provides for them.

He made his fans and Ghanaians aware that he has sacked them since January and he is only coming out in May to address it because they are still doing music in his name. Shatta Wale recruited the budding musicians in his team some years back to support his music craft where he releases seasonal songs with them.
