Nyantakyi’s loyalists will pull Kurt Okraku down – Former Minister

A former deputy sports minister Vincent Oppong Asamoah has predicted people loyal to former Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi will throw spanner into the works of the current administration led by Kurt Okraku.

According to him, Nyantakyi’s loyalists will be happy to see the Okraku-led administration sinking than succeed.

“I strongly believe that the loyalists of former Ghana FA boss and CAF vice president Kwesi Nyantakyi will do everything possible to bring Kurt Okraku’s administration down,” he told Accra-based Angel FM.

Asamoah noted Nyantakyi surrounded himself with praise singers and that cost him his job.

Nyantakyi resigned from the FA after being caught in an undercover bribery scandal. The case was referred to FIFA by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and the football administrator was subsequently banned for life.

He has since said he was innocent.
