All Covid-19 Patients At Korlebu Treated And Discharged

The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has reported that all Covid-19 patients that were on admission at the facility have recovered.

Chief Executive Officer of the facility, Daniel Asare, enumerates that the discharged patients are number seven (7) and include a nurse, an orderly, a doctor and a security officer.

“The patients were impressed with the level of care and the contributions of the multidisciplinary team that the hospital has assembled and tasked with the treatment of the patients,” Mr. Asare noted in a statement issued Monday in Accra.

According to the statement, all the discharged patients, “were urged to be ambassadors in the campaign to dispel the stigma around Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.”

The Twitter account of Ghana’s premier Teaching Hospital has since been buzzing with celebrations over the success.
