Through the enhanced contact tracing in the last three weeks, we have about 638 positives bringing the number to 1154 cases as at today.

“Out of this, we have had about 120 of them having recovered,” Dr. Aboagye said.

He gave the breakdown of the recoveries as follows; “82 have come from Ga East; UGMC has reported about 17 recoveries, Ridge has 3 people recovered, the 37 Military Hospital has recorded 4 recoveries, Tema General Hospital 1, Ashanti Region has 6, Wa has 1 and Tamale has 6 cases reported.”

A total of 1,021 people who got infected, including those who are asymptomatic, he said, are responding to treatment as well. “Of those who are well and responding to treatment, including those who are asymptomatic, that comes around 1,021 accounting for about 88.5%.”
