Personnel from the National Security apparatus, this evening reportedly besieged the home of popular man of God, Prophet Badu Kobi.
It is not clear why the outspoken priest’s home was besieged but according to reports, the house was surrounded by personnel of the National Security apparatus.
Prophet Badu Kobi is well known to be a staunch critic of the ruling New Patriotic Party and President Akufo-Addo.
Recently, he claimed that the Government would rig the 2020 election and that the outcome of the election had already been determined by the Government.
After that claim, many had called for his arrest. It is not clear if this is the reason his home was besieged.
As at the time of going to press, it was not clear if he had been arrested, but Adakabre Frimpong Manso, who broke the news about the besiegement of his home had been emphatic that those who had surrounded the house were from National Security.
