Asante Kotoko star Songne Yacouba picks Man of the Match award in Legon Cities FC win

Asante Kotoko talisman Songne Yacouba was named Man of the Match in their come-from-behind 3-1 win over Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night.

The Burkina Faso international was in his elements as he provided two assists.

Just after the hour mark, he capitalized on a failed clearance halfway the Legon Cities FC  half and threaded a pass to Augustine Okrah, who scooped the ball over goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.

This was Kotoko’s equalizer and that turned the game on its head.

Yacouba bullied his way past two defenders before hitting the bar line to whip in a cross which met the head of Gyamfi for the third goal on the hour mark.

He was replaced in the 87th minute by Naby Keita
