The CEO of Nima Excellence Awards Ibrahim Al-hassan is calling on Muslims across Ghana to adopt ‘THE SILENT TREATMENT’ communication strategy, over Prophet Owusu Bempah’s prophecy about the National Chief Imam, and recant unguarded comments.
The young CEO suggests that remaining silent can be one of the most effective strategies for communicating, especially, if you are trying to entice someone to share more information with you. Instead of immediately answering after your partner’s completed statement, remain silent but attentive.
During a 2018, December 31 watchnight service, Rev Bempah, who in the past has made prophesies on the death of some prominent Ghanaians including former Vice President Amissah Arthur, said the Lord had revealed to him the death of some eminent Ghanaians in 2019.
Some of the names mentioned by the man of God included the current Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Shaributu, who crossed over into 2020 alive and healthy.
The prophecy of the death of the National Chief Imam, even though Rev. Bempah hinted could be averted through fervent prayer, ignited anger among some Muslim youth, for which reason they stormed the Odorkor branch of Rev Bempah’s church.
After Owusu Bempah’s reconciliatory visit to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, at his Fadama residence, he claimed that the Chief Imam’s intervention showed him a man full of love for Ghana, and that without his call for peace, one could not have fathomed the aftermath.
Owusu Bempah called the Chief Imam his father, saying his visit to him only marks the beginning of many further visits and asked for God’s blessings for him and all assembled.
Surprisingly, he has repeated the prophecy, which has disappointed many Muslims, and they are calling on the Imam’s office to respond effectively to the issue.
He applauded the office of the most respected Imam for adopting ’THE SILENT TREATMENT’ in communication to kill the mischief by Prophet Owusu Bempah.
ISLAM: THE RELIGION OF PEACE AND TOLERANCE
Peace and tolerance are two of the most important aspects that make up Islam. We as Muslims need to understand these aspects of Islam.
President George W. Bush best expressed this notion when he said that “Islam is a religion of peace.” One of the leading Muslims to echo this is Yusuf Islam (the former rock musician Cat Stevens, who now helps promote Muslim education in England).
Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Be tolerant and you will receive tolerance.” Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Ahmad Shakir
In this light I urge every Muslim to remain claim in this trying time of Muslims in Ghana.
