Inter Allies only club to fully meet Club Licensing requirements – Kotoko, Hearts exposed

Little-fancied Inter Allies are the only club in the Ghana Premier Club to have met all the requirements for a full license to play in the country’s top-flight.

The country’s biggest clubs Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak despite their numerous years of existence were unable to meet fully meet the requirements but will be allowed to play under a conditional license.

They are among the 17 clubs to be given conditional licenses to play in the league that starts on Sunday but it exposes the fact that they have not taken their professionalism seriously.

On the eve of the start of the competition, Ghana FA’s Club Licensing Board announced that Inter Allies is the only club in the country to have met all the requirements of the Licensing Board.

The Club Licensing Board during their visit to Inter Allies were impressed with the professional way the club was managed, thus the result after the inspection means Inter Allies are pacesetters in club professionalism.

Inter Allies will honour their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium for the 2019/20 league season.

The other 17 Premier League teams in the country could not meet all the requirements and have been given conditional license to operate as they league kicks off on Sunday 28 December, 2019.

Aduana Stars FC 10. Berekum Chelsea 11. Karela FC 12. Wa All Stars FC 13. Liberty Professionals FC 14. Ashantigold SC 15. Bechem United FC 16. Dwarfs FC 17. Elimina Sharks FC

The Club Licensing Board shall accordingly communicate their decision relating to the terms of the award, to each club, in due course.
