A number of lavish properties have popped up on social media allegedly belonging to the current Minister of Energy, Peter Amewu.
Whatsup News has been unable to confirm the veracity of these claims as the properties include a massive multi-storey mansion said to be the private residence of the energy minister who was previously the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources.
The construction timeline of this huge private edifice is unknown as observers claim it was recently constructed.
Also among the circulating pictures is a lavishly constructed memorial tomb reportedly constructed for Mr. Amewu’s deceased sister-Esther Dey.
Boldly
embossed on the front of the plush mausoleum is the inscription “ESTHER” in
what observers say gives credence to speculations that the tomb belongs to
Peter Amewu’s sister.
The late Esther Dey
popularly known as Nee Amewu-Duglu, died on August 12, 2019, at the Tema
General Hospital and was buried amidst an avalanche of dignitaries, including
