Ghost Story At Fumbisi Senior High As 11 Students Collapse

Eleven female students of the Fumbisi Senior High School in the Builsa South district of the Upper East region have been hospitalized after reportedly collapsing from an encounter with an otherworldly being on campus.

It is being reported that the victims who are on admission at the Sandema government Hospital lost consciousness after encountering ghosts on Sunday and Monday.

The alleged paranormal occurrence has forced the authorities to close down the school.

First victim of the encounters is said to have fallen from the second floor of the school’s girls dormitory upon encountering the apparition on Sunday.  She has since lost her sight, it is reported.

After the fall, she had been rushed to the local health center at Fumbisi where she had been revived the next day. However, after the revival from coma, she had felt traumatized by the incident. Things were to turn for the worst when she relapsed later on Monday and had to be rushed to the Sandema Government Hospital.

She has reportedly her sight.

Ten other female students of the same school also collapsed yesterday and were rushed to the Sandema Government Hospital where they are receiving treatment. It is not clear if they had also collapsed as a result of an encounter with the ghost.

The strange happening is said to have stricken students with fear and forced the authorities to close down the school. It is not clear when the school will reopen as the district Security Committee which ordered the closure, has not communicated any reopening date.

Meanwhile, there are calls on the Christian Council of Ghana to send in priests and prayer warriors to exorcise the school of any possible ghostly haunt.
