One More Traditional Chief Murdered As Red Alert Hits Traditional Authority

A chief at Gomoa Akranmang in the Central Region has been gruesomely murdered, Whatsup News gathered.

Nana Egyiri, an important Kingmaker of Gomoa Ankranmang was reportedly murdered, dumped in an outback and his home and vehicle vandalised.

This tallies to three in a disturbing trend of a murderous spree of traditional chiefs in less than four months.

The Caretaker Chief of Prampram in the Greater Accra Region, Nene Atsure Benta III, was recently killed in his car, while a few weeks ago, the Asamponghene, Oheneba Kwadwo Aforduor, of the Ashanti kingdom was brutally murdered in what is believed to be stabbing.

The circumstances around the latest murder is still sketchy as security agency swoop onto the murder scene.

The Gomoa East District was at the heart of the recent killing of two police officers: Sergeant Michael Dzamesi and Lance Corporal Awal Mohammed.
