A viral video available seen by Whatsup News shows Ghana’s iconic highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu (Daddy Lumba) set to release a new track that virtually chides President Akufo Addo for his difficulties fulfilling campaign promises.
In the video believed to have been shot at the studio of the popular music producer “Apietus” Daddy Lumba was heard singing that critics say Akufo Addo cannot fulfil his campaign promises for One District One Factory and One District One Dam.
An acquaintance in the video was seen chipping into the song saying “Change is imminent”. Whatsup News cannot confirm the exact date of this video or the timeframe the new track is set to be released, but information gathered shows that the music the recording was not made prior to both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections where Daddy Lumber strongly endorsed the candidature of President Akufo Addo.
If this video turns out valid, Daddy Lumber would have joined the growing list of Ghanaian celebrities that have reportedly regretted endorsing President Akufo Addo despite their frontline campaigns for him both in 2012 and 2016.
